Eastward Bound

-edit #1- A guy who works for CNN we met at a gas station back in San Fran had asked us permission to use us in a video project he was doing. He just uploaded the video and it gives a pretty awesome view of most of the places we've been coincidentally, as well as including us playing music/juggling in front of the bus about halfway through, I recommend you guys check it out: http://vimeo.com/43779634


We booked it north through Oregon, met up with an enlightened individual on the road who opened our minds to unique concepts. He wished to remain anonymous as the world isn't yet ready to hear his teachings, but we were lucky enough to get the chance to talk with him for a few hours. Spirulina, save the world.

We then took a ferry in Washington to a little island where we stayed at a powerful healer's house for a few days and spent my birthday playing Ultimate Frisbee.

After deciding to cut off the highway and detour through Yellowstone, we witnessed Old Faithful, who erupted 7 minutes late, it was total blasphemy.

Yellowstone was full of amazing scenic views, sulphur filled air making us hungry for eggs, and beautiful colored pools of boiling hot mineral saturated water.



Oh and a ton of bison and elk.

Bussy keeps overheating on uphill streaks, leading us to stop in breathtaking pull-offs where the sky and scenery blows our mind contantly. 

After making it over this (hopefully) last hill we'll have to climb until New England, We're booking it straight shot on highways to try and make it back in time for Collin's Brother's wedding.

Back on the road!

After spending a week trying to get the bus fixed ourselves, we decided the attempt was futile and got it to a professional. The repair palce was super helpful and friendly, let us crash right outside the garaga, came in a day they were closed to help us get back on the road, and knocked a couple bucks off the price for good faith.

 After witnessing a mind blowing sunset, we started the trek north into Oregon. 

 We ventured into a place called Fern Canyon, on the way out of California, where we were greeted by prehistoric landscapes and unbelievable decor.

 On our way out of the canyon we made our way to the beach where we got attacked by a full sized female Elk. Pat chased it around for a bit until it ran us off the road and back into the forest.

Picked up yet another hitchhiker today, who's showing us a cool place to camp out in Florence OR. Tomorrow we'll check out Portland if we make it there. The plan is to be back in Vermont within 3 weeks.
